The Black Horse is very much a traditional local pub, owned and run by
Michele & Gary Coldwell for the past 16 years.

Pop in for a pint and a chat on your way home from work, come and celebrate a special occasion with a family party. Or, just simply call in for a bite to eat just because you are hungry.

We operate a bar menu, specials board & a full restaurant menu. Our policy is that you choose which area you wish to sit in … traditional cosy pub with a log fire during the winter months. The conservatory restaurant or the non-smoking section in-between. Plus, we have a large ‘umbrella’ in the garden to enjoy during the summer months, its heated, so you don’t have to worry if it’s not exactly a heat wave! Then, you choose your meal from whichever menu suits you, we do not mind at all. All that we ask, is that you relax & enjoy yourself. Look forward to seeing you there.
