Welcome to the Black Horse Web Site.

The Black Horse is very much a traditional local pub, owned and run by Michele and Gary Coldwell for nearly 18 years now.

Pop in for a pint and a chat on your way home from work. We offer a selection of beers, which include our own Black horse’, London pride, and Harvey’s. Plus Fosters and kronenberg, a large selection of wines and everything inbetween. For the smokers we heated areas for you to enjoy your drink and cigarette outside.

We operate a bar menu, specials board & a full restaurant menu. Our policy is that you choose which area you wish to sit in ... traditional cosy pub with a log fire during the winter months. The conservatory restaurant or the bar eating area. If the weathers good we have a lovely little garden outside with a big heated umbrella to enjoy the outdoor life. Then, you choose your meal from whichever menu suits you, we do not mind at all. All that we ask is that you relax & enjoy yourself. Look forward to seeing you there, in The Little ... Big Pub.

Celebration? Family party? Wedding? ... We might be what you are looking for. We have a large selection of party menus, sit down meals and buffets. We can even do you a full hog roast. The choice is yours.

We are now taking bookings for Pre Christmas parties. Christmas Eve dinner. Christmas Day lunch. New Years Eve dinner in the restaurant or choose from the menu in the bar.
